Neil Alpert spent nearly 3 years in leadership roles with LaserLock Technologies in Washington, DC. During this time, he successfully raised the funds necessary to re-capitalize the publicly traded company which is now listed on the NASDAQ. He initially joined LaserLock Technologies as the chief operating officer but was soon promoted to chief executive officer and president. Neil Alpert has since worked with numerous clients, both raising funds and acting in a management and board capacity for a number of growing companies.

Prior to his time at LaserLock, which was sold to a New York City ownership group in 2015, Neil Alpert worked for the Republican National Committee in Washington, DC, in a senior advisory role to the Chairman. Immediately prior to that he also served as director of institutional relations with the Washington National Opera.

In a volunteer capacity, Mr. Alpert now serves as a member of the National Infrastructure Advisory Council, the only executive council that examines cross-sector critical infrastructure security and resilience issues and provides recommendations to the President on how to secure the nation’s infrastructure. He also sits on the advisory board member with the Institute for World Politics, an independent graduate school founded to fill a major national need: to supply professional education in statecraft, national security, intelligence, and international affairs that no other school offers.

He studied communications at the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, graduating with his bachelor of arts in 2000. During his time at the school, he served as president of the University of Rhode Island Debate Team and a member of Pi Kappa Delta, one of the nation’s oldest forensics organizations. He received the Leonard E. Smith Award for Public Speaking.
